SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN

According to the Care Act 2014, safeguarding adults means to protect their rights to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. Adults at risk include those who have a need for care and support, those who at risk of abuse or neglect and those who are unable to protect themselves from the risk or experience of being abused or neglected. Our training in safeguarding adults teaches you the signs that can indicate an adult is at risk and the steps that should be taken to prevent and protect them from such harm.
